The head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Razhden Kuprashvili, was in Germany for a work-related visit.
On October 23, an official meeting was held between the Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Ministry of Justice of the Free State of Bavaria. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Hildegard Bäumler-Hösl, Senior Public Prosecutor at the Munich Public Prosecutor General’s Office, and Mr. Daniel Semren, LL.M. (Wellington) Regierungsdirektor, Head of Division, International Relations (European States), Bavarian State Ministry of Justice, who also leads to anti-corruption direction.
During the meeting, the parties discussed anti-corruption reforms and activities. Additionally, the discussion included acquiring information about the strategic tasks of Georgia's Anti-Corruption Bureau and discussing major developments and potential partnerships in the future.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Markus Müller, Notary; Mr. Prof.Dr. Giorgi Khubua, president for Research at Steinbeis University of Berlin; Mr. Besiki Vekua, Head of the Department of Monitoring of Asset Declarations of Officials; And Ms. Mariami Kepuladze, Lawyer-Analyst of the Bureau.
