The Anti-Corruption Bureau is actively working to support the process of European integration and fulfill international obligations. To this end, on July 24, the Head of the Bureau, Razhden Kuprashvili, presented the main directions of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy to representatives of the public sector during a working meeting.

The meeting also addressed the importance of reporting corruption-related incidents and the role of the public sector in strengthening and destigmatizing the whistleblower institution.

The Head of the Bureau discussed the Law of Georgia "On Combating Corruption" and the recent amendments to the Law of Georgia "On Public Service," and presented the Bureau’s draft recommendations aimed at promoting the effective implementation of these amendments.

The Bureau's initiatives will contribute to Georgia’s successful fulfillment of its obligations under the 5th evaluation round of the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO), which in turn serves the goal of making Georgia one of the leading countries in Europe in terms of low levels of corruption.
