The Anti-Corruption Bureau continues holding meetings with local municipalities to enhance transparency and accountability in governance.
On July 25, another meeting was held with representatives of local self-government bodies.
At the meeting, the head of the Bureau presented the key directions of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, aimed at preventing and eliminating corruption. Special attention was given to the importance of whistleblowing and the role of local self-governments in strengthening and destigmatizing the whistleblower institution.
Razhden Kuprashvili also spoke about the recent amendments to the Laws of Georgia "On Combating Corruption" and "On Public Service." He presented draft recommendations from the Bureau, which aim to support the effective implementation of these amendments at the local government level.
