At the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC COSP) held in Atlanta, Razhden Kuprashvili, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, met with key Romanian officials: Alex Florenta, the General Prosecutor of Romania; Alina Gorghius, the Minister of Justice of Romania; and Florin-Ionel Moises, the President of the National Integrity Agency of Romania.
During this initial meeting, the parties compared and discussed the anti-corruption policies of Georgia and Romania.
An agreement was reached on future cooperation and meeting between the parties.
The meeting was also attended by Tamta Kachkachishvili, the First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau; Besiki Vekua, Head of the Department of Monitoring of Asset Declarations of Officials; and Giorgi Bagdavadze, Legal Adviser.
