The Anti-Corruption Bureau is continuing its series of informational meetings aimed at promoting transparency and integrity in the activities of non-governmental organizations.
On July 3rd, another informational meeting was held regarding the changes made to the Law of Georgia "On Grants." Representatives from academic circles, students, and human rights defenders attended the event.
The meeting was interactive, with Razhden Kuprashvili, the Head of the Bureau, answering questions from the attendees.
During the meeting, the crucial role of conscientious non-governmental organizations was emphasized once again. It was highlighted that the Bureau will do its maximum to simplify their work.
To that end, the platform grants.acb.gov.ge was created and will become active on July 10th. Registration on the website is voluntary, and interested parties will need to complete a simple registration form. During monitoring, the Anti-Corruption Bureau will rely on the information uploaded by these organizations.
The meeting on July 3rd was attended by representatives from approximately 150 different organizations.
