On August 18, the Head of the „Anti-Corruption Bureau“, Razhden Kuprashvili, met with the Ambassador of Austria to Georgia, Mr. Robert Gerschner.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of transparency and accountability in the activities of political parties and non-governmental organizations, as well as issues related to the implementation of the „FARA“ and „Law on Grants“.
Special attention was paid to the rule of law. It was emphasized that the consistent and fair enforcement of the law is an essential standard of democracy, which in turn ensures fair and transparent processes in the political and public life of the country.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on enhancing bilateral cooperation and partnership.
The meeting was also attended by Erwin Künzi - Advisor and Giorgi Baghdavadze - Head of the International Relations Department.
