In Atlanta, Razhden Kuprashvili, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, met with Dr. Hady Fink and Vinay Bhargava, advisors from the "Partnership for Transparency" (PTF), an international NGO.
Both experts have extensive experience from their tenure at the World Bank.
The discussion centered on the principal challenges in anti-corruption efforts and the value of sharing international experience in this area.
The meeting concluded with an agreement on future cooperation between the Bureau and the Partnership for Transparency.
The meeting was also attended by Tamta Kachkachishvili, the First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau; Besiki Vekua, Head of the Department of Monitoring of Asset Declarations of Officials; and Giorgi Bagdavadze, Legal Adviser.
