On June 19, Razhden Kuprashvili, Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, met with David Asatiani, Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, and other representatives of the Association.

The discussion covered: the Organic Law of Georgia "On Political Unions of Citizens," the Laws of Georgia - "On the Registration of Foreign Agents" and "On Grants," their enforcement mechanisms, and related issues.

During the meeting, the Head of the Bureau heard the recommendations of the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association and noted that such dialogue and sharing of experience are very important for the working process.

He also reiterated that for the Bureau's work, in parallel with the supremacy of law, the protection of the constitutional rights of Georgian citizens is particularly crucial. He once again affirmed that the information requested by the Bureau relates solely to clarifying the purpose of activities of specific organizations that receive grants or engage in political activities, and it covers only the study of activities carried out within the scope of funding.
