The main powers of the Financial and Material-Technical Support Service are:

• Planning of financial policy, ensuring the targeted spending of the budget, accounting, and reporting;
• Coordination of financial activities of the Bureau, ensuring the financial functioning and, for this purpose, cooperation with relevant administrative bodies;
• Determination of the material and technical means necessary for the functioning of the Bureau and their supply;
• Creating a safe work environment in the Bureau and implementing appropriate measures for this purpose;
• Carrying out other functions stipulated by the regulation of the service, the instructions of the Head of the Bureau, and the legislation of Georgia.
