The Anti-Corruption Bureau organized an international conference titled " PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION: GEORGIAN ANTI-CORRUPTION REFORM AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE."
The meeting was opened by Razden Kuprashvili, Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, and Bakur Abuladze, First Deputy General Prosecutor.
The conference was attended by representatives of Anti-Corruption Agencies from the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of the Kingdom of Spain, Moldova, and Tajikistan.
The discussion focused on Georgia's anti-corruption reform, progress achieved regarding anti-corruption concerns, and the existing mechanisms of fighting against corruption.
During the meeting, the best practices in the direction of whistleblower protection, assessment of corruption risks, and strengthening of preventive mechanisms were discussed.
The memorandum was signed between the Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Andalusian Anti-Fraud Office.
The parties agree to work together to develop and implement systems for managing and assessing corruption risks. It is also planned to discuss best practices and relevant resources on subjects such as anti-corruption and whistleblower protection.
The target audience of the conference was represented by local and international experts, academic circles, and representatives of public services.
