Razhden Kuprashvili, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, met with representatives of the Council of Europe's Election Observation and Support Division.
 
During the meeting, the parties discussed the legislative changes that have been initiated. The Head of the Bureau stated that these changes would significantly improve the current legislative mechanisms and enhance the effectiveness of the political finance monitoring process.
 
The active cooperation of the Bureau with political parties was also highlighted, with a particular emphasis on the importance of transparency and accountability.
 
The parties discussed the importance and necessity of a partnership between the Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Council of Europe.
 
The meeting was attended by Ketevan Muradashvili, Head of the Political Finance Monitoring Department; Liri Kopaci-Di Michele, Head of the Interparliamentary Cooperation & Project Support Division at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; Franck Daeschler, Elections Programme Coordinator at the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; and Svetislav Paunovic, Deputy Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia.
